Unit 404 Honors Fallen Veterans with Wreaths Across America

Unit 404 of District 11/12 proudly participated in its fourth year of Wreaths Across America (WAA) at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery in South St. Louis County. This dedicated sponsorship group, partnered with WAA, organized the effort over three days in December 2023 (14th-16th).

As sponsors, Unit 404 secured over 600 wreath donations for four national cemeteries, primarily at Jefferson Barracks. They also volunteered to personally place any grave-specific wreaths requested by their sponsors. With 30 volunteers working tirelessly, they laid 275 wreaths to honor fallen veterans, ensuring every Post 404 member buried there received a tribute. This year, they were also honored to place a wreath on Joel Hauck's resting place for the first time.
